SUMMARY:“Sing For Our Lives”
DESCRIPTION:On May 12th\, Mother’s Day Eve\, Vanguard Theater Company will host a benefit\, “Sing For Our Lives”. “Sing For Our Lives” will include storytelling\, spoken word poetry\, theater scenes\, choral performances\, and other live music\, and is appropriate for all ages. Student artists from Rutgers University and the Montclair area will be joined by Broadway performers. They will also be joined by two of the speakers from Newark’s March for Our Lives\, Princess Sabaroche and Elijah Brown. The proceeds of the event will go to co-sponsors\, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America\, Students Demand Action\, and Everytown for Gun Safety.
