DESCRIPTION:Join us for a dynamic weekend as we combine inspiration and instruction in social justice with celebrating ways that the arts have the power to inspire people justice efforts. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n\n\n\n\nMurray Grove Homecoming September 28-30 this year is focused on Social Justice. The theme is Universal Love in Action and the theme speakers are Rev. Robin Tanner and Rev. Charles Boyer\, co-chairs of the New Jersey Prophetic Agenda and New Jersey’s expression of the Poor People’s Campaign. \nIn addition to these inspiring speakers\, we are offering practical workshops to assist congregations in their social justice work: \n\n–  Workshop on advocacy by Rev. Rob Gregson of UU Faith Action NJ\n–  Workshop on fundraising for social action by Gary Nissenbaum\n–  Workshop on Welcoming the Stranger by Rev. John MorganAt the heart of the weekend is a Congregational Showcase of successful social action projects. You are invited to participate by bringing what you are proud of and by seeing and learning of others’ successes.
