SUMMARY:NJ Abolition Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Event info and registration at https://isyourlifebetter.net/nj-abolition-workshops/ \n\n\nAll workshop sessions will be free for participants. We will only request that everyone who attends\, come with both the intention to learn and the willingness to share with others. The greater goal for this program is to promote an “Each One Teach One” strategy. We hope attendees will bring the knowledge they gain from the workshops back to their organizations and communities. Workshops will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of odd numbered months\, and the 4th Tuesday of even numbered months. \nPlease direct all questions and inquiries to: isyourlifebetter@gmail.com. \nSpace for the in-person participation is very limited\, but we encourage all who can attend in person to do so! SUMMARY:UPLIFT Trans/Non-Binary Gathering
DESCRIPTION:UPLIFT\nMonthly Trans/Non-Binary Gathering Space\nJoin the UPLIFT monthly gatherings for trans\, nonbinary\, and other not-entirely-or-at-all-cis UUs.  Join us to connect with other trans/nonbinary+ UUs and co-create support and community across our faith.  All you need to bring is yourself (and other trans/nonbinary friends\, if you’d like)! \nThese gatherings focus on getting to know each other and on sharing our collective dreams\, ideas\, and talents for this space. Expansive definitions of trans\, nonbinary\, and UU all apply.  Non-UUs are welcome if they are OK with being in a UU-focused community.  If you are interested in this space\, and you aren’t (entirely or at all) cisgender\, it’s a space for you. \nRegister to Attend \n  \n\nNOTE: This space is intentionally multi-generational. It is open to and welcoming of trans/nonbinary elders as well as children\, youth\, and young adults. Standard UUA online safety measures apply to ensure all people under 18 are able to attend. We’re glad to have you here! \nAccessibility Notes: Closed captioning will be available\, and any common chat content will also be spoken aloud.
