DESCRIPTION:Friday\, August 15th\, we celebrate #BeBraveDay\, when hundreds of Visibility Brigade chapter groups will converge on overpasses and bridges across our nation\, proclaiming: \nBE BRAVE WITH US. WE’LL STAND WITH YOU. \nThis message should become a mantra of hope and determination beyond August 15th that we can hold onto and share with each other in even our darkest moments. The message should be seen and heard EVERYWHERE–join us! \nOn Friday August 15th\, you don’t need an overpass. You can present this message on sidewalks\, store windows\, the front dash of your car\, on your lawn\, taped onto telephone poles–anywhere that is public and where we have First Amendment Rights or where you have permission to display it. \nHere are some free poster files that you can print out in numerous sizes and put on\ndisplay. You can also order (at cost) T-shirts\, bumper stickers and more here to get the\nmessage out! \nSocial Media Best Practices:\nWhen sharing on social media\, feel free to say or sing the phrase or the below poem/lyrics into your camera and encourage others to do so as well. We briefly outline the talking points\, provide you with a sample script and then the phone number of the legislators to call. And you make the call right there—in real time. \nYou don’t have to prepare.  You don’t have to commit to coming to every single Action Hour.  This is not a committee\, nor a commitment—it is a come-as-you-are-able opportunity! \nCan’t join us on a particular Friday\, or maybe noon is just never gonna work for your schedule?  No problem!  The Google Doc will have all the information you need so that you can take the action at a time convenient for you.  Not only that— we hope you will share the action with your congregation or community\, and our one little pebble can start to produce ripples.
