DESCRIPTION:Global Wind Day is an international occasion to celebrate the importance of wind energy for our clean energy future and decarbonizing our economy.  \n  \nThe NJ Chapter of the Sierra Club\, NJ Wind Works Coalition\, and various environmental and environmental justice partners will host a day-long event to celebrate and support responsible offshore wind development and clean energy more broadly in New Jersey. Offshore wind has the power to carry our state into the future\, all while creating thousands of green\, high-paying jobs\, cleaning our air\, and helping us achieve energy independence.  \n  \nThis family-friendly event will have live music\, food trucks\, a speaking program\, children’s entertainment and education\, offshore wind coloring books\, pinwheels and kites\, and more\, all with the iconic New York City skyline in the background!
