She is an accomplished finance manager with over 30 years of extensive experience serving non-profits\, and is passionate about giving back to communities that have given her so very much. Mia strives to educate others\, through words and deeds\, so they can help themselves. She is a lay leader in the Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Summit\, NJ and a national leader in her faith. Mia is a graduate of Hampton University\, and the University of Michigan. She’s excited about the work we can all do together for good\, when we set aside our differences. \n  \n \nKEYNOTE: Reverend Kerwin Webb is a native of Birmingham\, Alabama and earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Alabama State University. Rev. Webb is a 2019 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary\, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree\, a Certificate in Black Church Studies\, and an International Certificate in Youth\, Theology\, and Innovation from the Institute for Youth Ministry (IYM). Reverend Webb was ordained at Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park on May 15\, 2022.   \nReverend Webb currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Second Baptist Church of Asbury Park\, the President of the Greater Red Bank branch of the NAACP\, coalition liaison for the New Jersey Social Justice Remembrance Coalition\, and Board Chair of the T. Thomas Fortune Foundation.  In 2012\, Kerwin founded the RMW Foundation – a non-profit organization focused on child development\, youth outreach\, and adult empowerment  In addition to his other roles\, Rev. Webb is an organizational coach and a training and development consultant\, with a focus on helping individuals and organizations achieve personal and organizational goals.   \n  \n \nRobt Martin Seda-Schreiber is Chief Activist of the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice\, a community activist center\, educational bridge\, & safe-space for our LGBTQIA kids\, intersectional families\, & all marginalized people\, connecting our disparate communities\, both locally & nationally  \nNamed the Martin Luther King Jr. Champion for Justice\, honored with the Jefferson Award for Public Service\, & awarded the Human Rights Advocate of the Year\, Robt founded the Center in 2018 after 25 years as a schoolteacher~ establishing New Jersey’s first middle school Gay Straight Alliance; being honored as State Champion of Equality; serving as a Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholar to Japan; receiving two Senate Proclamations recognizing his service to the community more than a decade apart; & named the NEA’s “Social Justice Activist of the Year”.  \n  \nJohanna Foster is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair\, where she served as the Co-Chair of the Social Justice Coalition from 2016-2021. She is Associate Professor of Sociology and the Helen Bennett McMurray Endowed Chair in Social Ethics at Monmouth University. For nearly twenty years\, Johanna has served as a volunteer correctional educator\, combining her teaching and research efforts in social inequalities with work to restore higher education in prison communities in the United States. She was the co-founder of the College Bound Consortium for incarcerated women in New Jersey\, co-founder of the College Connections Program for incarcerated women in New York State\, and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Rutgers University\, an MA in Applied Sociology from American University\, and has expertise in the intersections of race\, class and gender inequalities; community organizing and social movements; and the gendered conditions of incarceration and confinement. \n  \n \nCharles Loflin\, as Executive Director\, serves as UU FaithAction NJ’s organization’s principle link with congregations\, volunteers\, coalition partners and legislators in his capacity as policy director\, chief administrator and advisor to the Board. Charles joined UU FaithAction NJ staff in 2020\, and he stepped into the role of Executive Director in 2021. As a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Montclair\, he had participated in events and actions since the “Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministry of New Jersey” days. \nCharles received his Masters of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological Seminary in 2021. He served as ministerial intern at the Morristown UU Fellowship 2020-2021. In addition to his experience in ministry\, Charles brings to UU FaithAction NJ many years of technical experience as a developer of web applications and social media integrations. With all the tools of technology\, covenant and grace\, Charles is leading us in the Zoom age to come together as a faith movement in New Jersey to voice our values. \n  \n \nSUNDAY WORSHIP LEADER:  Rev. Kimberly Quinn Johnson has served as minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork since 2015. She has embraced the East End of Long Island as well as her congregation.  Reverend Johnson is a sought after fixture in our community.  Her perspective\, insights and actions have led to social justice initiatives and increased UUs influence in the area.  She is a welcomed proactive force for change. \nReverend Johnson is a rising star within the larger Unitarian Universalist denomination.  She wears many leadership hats.  She serves on the Organizing Collective Board for Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism. Reverend Johnson is co-chair of the UUA Appointments Committee and on the Board of Trustees of the UU Women’s Federation.  Another of Reverend Johnson’s passions is serving our UU youth.  She is a leader with the UU College of Social Justice.  She hopes to spend her summer working with youth through UU Summer Seminary or Thrive: leadership school for UU youth of color.  Lastly\, Rev.
