Stories for Reparations: Narrative Power & Personal Storytelling Workshop

Our stories are power. This interactive session will train you to craft personal narratives that connect your lived experience to the broader movement for reparations. You’ll learn how to use storytelling as a tool for social change, then join a coordinated social media takeover to flood timelines with bold voices demanding reparative justice in New Jersey.

What to Expect:

● Highlight the role of narrative and digital organizing in the fight for reparative justice
● Equip participants with tools to craft personal stories that support the call for reparations
● Use coordinated storytelling to increase visibility and awareness of the NJ Reparations Council’s
proposals
● Amplify a broad range of community voices in support of reparations
