From storytelling to grassroots outreach, this day centers the voices and experiences of Black
communities and invites all of us to take action for justice.

Part II: Community Listening Phonebank on Reparations

We can’t build a movement without listening. Join this deep listening phonebank to connect with
community members across New Jersey, hear their thoughts on reparations, and invite them to join the movement. This is both a listening session and effort to grow a movement rooted in real experiences, needs, and collective power.

What to Expect:
● Learn how to survey and engage community members
● Make calls to connect with neighbors about reparations
● Identify and recruit new supporters to join the campaign

Purpose:
● Deepen understanding of community views and lived experiences related to reparations
● Identify and recruit supporters, directly impacted residents, and potential movement leaders
● Build momentum and people power to support proposals for reparative justice
