“Voter Registration”
The first step towards increasing voter turnout is registering voters. Join this training to learn the ins and outs of setting up voter registration events, best practices for capturing data for GOTV follow-up, and the most common questions that new voters will have for you.
The Activist Training Program was launched in 2021 with the goal of providing free and nonpartisan public education and training on the knowledge and skills activists need to drive grassroots change and defend democracy.
LWVNJ offers training in 4 core areas:
- Understanding New Jersey Government
- Grassroots Organizing
- Voter Outreach
- Legislative Advocacy
These trainings are open to League members and members of the public who support the League’s mission and goals.
