January 22nd, 2023 marked the 50th anniversary of the historic Roe v. Wade decision. As we mourn the loss of nearly 50 years of constitutional protections, we RALLY and MOBILIZE for abortion access and justice. Our movement is bigger than Roe!
UU FaithAction NJ was a proud co-sponsor of rallies in Summit, West Orange and Trenton. Beacon UU hosted the Summit rally, in collaboration with NJ 11th for Change and UU FaithAction NJ. Members and clergy from Beacon UU and the UU Congregation at Washington Crossing were present at the rally on the steps of the State House in Trenton. Rev. Charles Loflin, Executive Director of UU FaithAction, addressed the crowd at the Trenton rally.
